India Culture Week concluded with an exciting hands-on workshop exploring the intricate art of Madhubani Paintings, led by Deepti Agrawal, artist and owner of Deepti Designs Inc, at Oberto Commons, Sinegal Center for Science and Innovation (November 14, 2024). The program was supported by Nikita Thakalath, Director of Outreach and Events, teaching artist Anvika Bheemarasetty and youth artists Shriya Shaji and Anvitha Babu.

India Culture Week is an initiative by the Consulate General of India, Seattle. For their first program they partnered with Seattle University, Roundglass India Center and the Office of Global Engagement.

From Nov 12-14, the Seattle U community immersed themselves in the vibrant culture of India, starting with an inaugural celebration.
